I.
Last Friday I took my dad to the airport to fly out to Vancouver, Canada. He stayed there for four days to practice with his band and make a video to send to the cruise director in Florida. I had to wake up quite early [5am] to drive him there.
On the way back up the 405 North, I see a sign saying
UCLA
Next ExitI remembered thinking that I had always wanted to visit the
University of California at Los Angeles, but I had never gotten around to it.
So I pulled off the freeway, got to UCLA, and spent about 5 hours touring around the campus. Let me tell you guys, it's
beautiful campus. I love the city life, so UCLA is a school I'm considering transfering too.
Unfortunately as a transfer to a
UC school, you need to have 60 Units [2 Semesters] worth of credits. That means two more years in the Antelope Valley... Not something I'm particularly excited about. Though UCLA is beautiful campus, they don't have my intended major which is Business Management. They do have Business Economics, but I don't know what that's all about.
My other college choice is
California State Univeristy at Northridge. They do have Business Management. In fact, they're one of the best Business schools in the whole state. I would love to go to CSUN, but the
Cal State system also requires 60 units of classes.
My third college choice is
Azusa Pacific University. It's a private Christian college, so it's a little more expensive. But they have an awesome Business program. Plus, I love the campus, the atmosphere, and the community feel to the place. APU only requires 30 units of classes.
I think what I want to go with is to take a year of classes at
Antelope Valley College then transfer to Azusa Pacific. If I love APU, I'll stay at APU. If I don't, I'll transfer to UCLA or CSUN.
II.
I went to
High School with a guy named
Kevin Lee. I didn't know Kevin all that well, but we had a couple classes together. He was pretty cool. Anyway, the reason I write about him now is that I am
amazed at his photography. It's absolutely amazing. He specializes in portrait work. Check out his
deviantArt Profile. Here are some of his shots
Check him out.
III.The last three weeks I haven't blogged...
I went to Universal Studios to hang with Justin for his birthday.
I went to the Laugh Factory that same night in Hollywood where we saw Bob Saget, John Mayer, and Dane Cook.
I've gotten so many epics in
World of Warcraft.
I met up with Lisa to talk over training day stuff for
HOBY's annual WLC this summer.
I got a haircut. No more long hair.
It's been a busy past three weeks it seems with work. I plan on taking more pictures and updating more often too.
